ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

The Lifecycle Marketing team at Vix is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our new streaming team!

The Pricing Analyst will work very closely with the Data Analytics organization to Identify and anticipate key trends and assess opportunities and risks for pricing strategy development.  This role will be key to guiding the marketing team with insights on customer behavior to help maximize customer growth and topline revenue.

This position reports to the Vice President of Pricing and will work with other members of the Marketing team, Data Analytics, Product and Tech teams.

ABOUT YOU:

You are an enthusiastic self-starter with an inquisitive mind who has a passion for data, business and research.  You are driven by using data to make decisions.  You like stay up to date on industry trends and have a keen eye for identifying opportunities and risks; and have previous experience working in a similar role.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)

• Identify marketing strategies to grow and retain subscribers.  Understand the patterns between AVOD, SVOD users and how to effectively convert to paying subscriptions

• Develop measurement tools to identify changing customer behavior

• Assist in creating promotional campaigns
• Develop key pricing initiatives aligned with the platform’s growth and profitability goals

• Create reports reflecting effectiveness and impact of price changes in order to quickly adjust strategies that are not working, replicate strategies that are successful and build internal knowledge around price elasticity
• Communicate findings and coordinate pricing activities effectively to relevant departments of the company

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Economics, Analytics or comparable field
• 3+ years’ experience in Pricing, Analytics or related function
• Prefer experience in a subscription business (i.e. cable, streaming, wireless, etc)
• Microsoft Suite experience required (strong Excel).  Preferred some background in SQL.
