Vision Films is a leading independent VOD aggregator specializing in the licensing, marketing, and distribution of over 1000 feature films, and documentaries, releasing 2-4 films a month across Theatrical, VOD, DVD, and Television channels. Our website is visionfilms.net. We are seeking a results-driven and passionate individual capable of working in a fast-paced environment and handling countless projects at once. From working with producers to onboard films, project managing trailers and artwork, monthly platform pitches, and windowing/availing subsequent windows, the position is a hybrid of creativity, analytical thinking, problem solving, and relationship building.
Must have Entertainment Industry Experience:
· 5+ Years of Domestic/International Film Experience in the digital, television, and home entertainment space
· Robust knowledge of licensing and windowing including theatrical/TVOD/DVD-EST/SVOD/AVOD/Television
Responsibilities:
· Working with platforms to provide monthly pitches and metadata for new film releases
· Developing relationships with filmmakers and sales agents to envision and execute marketing and publicity strategies
· Onboarding and overseeing new and existing platform relationships
· Development and execution of social media, on-air, and on-platform marketing opportunities for the Film library in conjunction with platform initiatives and original, out-of-the box Vision Films B2B marketing initiatives
· B2B and B2C brand building, ad-buys, social media activations, digital/print ads, bartered TV/radio activations
· Overseeing all aspects of Vision Films’ publicity initiatives including developing national publicity strategies, press releases, and producer calls in conjunction with Vision’s publicist
· Organizing and executing release events including in-person red carpets and digital screenings/Q&A events
· Managing avails, windowing, and metadata for Vision’s extensive library of over 1,000 hours of content
· Supporting delivery/onboarding team to deliver assets & metadata
· Overseeing theatrical day/date releases, including theaters, bookers, reporting, communication with platforms, and vendors
· Creating promotional videos and assets for platforms, websites, and social media posts/ads
· Cropping, resizing, and developing artwork and select stills
· Developing synopses and other consumer-facing film informatio
· Supporting acquisitions initiatives including producer calls and screening potential acquisitions
