What You Do As An Analyst at Comscore?
You'll be part of a team that helps clients answer key business questions and address research needs in the world of digital marketing and advertising. You will transform and analyze data to identify patterns and trends within our data assets, which our clients use to make crucial decisions in the interactive marketplace.You will have a unique ability to combine your consulting, project management, quantitative and analytical skills to develop reports and presentations containing findings, insights, and recommendations. You will learn to convey results in a visually appealing way, paint a business picture and build strong day-to-day working relationships with clients.
What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for specific client projects, interpreting data and communicating key findings and recommendations
- Deliver superior client service by being responsive and engaging to client inquiries, providing training and support, and demonstrating understanding of clients business objectives and goals
- Clearly manage and communicate project timelines and specifications with internal and external stakeholders
- Paint a picture with the data by developing visually appealing reports and presentations
- Recognize and diagnose data issues
- Deliver results to clients in an informative, professional way
- Identify areas for process improvement; proactively and creatively implement solution
- Build strong day-to-day working relationship with clients and internal, cross-functional teams
- Become an industry expert through ongoing research, knowledge sharing, and engaging others in discussion.Foster a climate that encourages open communication and trust
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelors Degree with strong quantitative focus such as Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, Business/Marketing/Market Research or relate field
- 2+ years of work experience in an analytical role (including data analysis, market research)
- Experience in marketing, or in analyzing customer interactions on the web is a plus
- Experience with syndicated data or custom market research, analyzing users Internet behavior, consulting, or training customers a plus
- Experience managing and developing client relationships and analytical work
- Superior attention to detail an absolute requirement
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Affinity for numbers and statistics
- Experience in extracting, validating and analyzing large amounts of data, and an ability to consolidate and translate that data into business insight to tell a story
- Experience in project management
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal
- Self-motivated, fast learner, pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team-based environment
