This session brings together leaders from across the OTT and Connected TV ecosystem for a candid discussion tackling some of the most timely topics impacting the industry today. Expect thoughtful perspectives on navigating industry change, building impactful companies and partnerships, and advancing representation across the media and technology sectors.

In recognition of Women’s History Month, this special edition of OTT.X BUZZ brings together influential voices from across the OTT and CTV ecosystem for a candid discussion about leadership, innovation, and the opportunities ahead.
The conversation will take on some of the most timely and relevant topics shaping the streaming landscape today, from evolving business models and monetization strategies to shifting consumer behavior, global distribution, and the role of technology in enabling the next generation of streaming services.

Cathy Rasenberger

Cathy Rasenberger is Founder and President of Rasenberger Media LLC. (www.rasenbergermedia.com), a leading media industry consulting firm for 28 years providing business development, outsourced management and strategic advisory services. Founded in 1998, Rasenberger Media has specialized in developing, launching and distributing television networks. To date, Rasenberger has successfully helped launch 25 leading Cable TV networks and 20+ FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming) channels including AccuWeather, Newsmax, TV One, Al Jazeera, Outside TV, Outdoor Channel, MGMHD, Universal Sports, PBS Nature, RFD-TV, PFLMMA, Free Movies Plus, and many more. Rasenberger Media has advised major media companies on strategic partnerships, business development, market entry and distribution strategies including WNET, Verizon Wireless, Al Jazeera, WWE, Condé Nast, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, MGM, Universal Music, TDAmeritrade, WURL, AIBUY, Rural Media Group, among others.
Cathy Rasenberger is also a Founder and President of Sports Studio, Inc., which owns and operates FreeLiveSports.tv, the leading free all-sports streaming platform with 120+ sports channels, 1000s of hours of sports-related VOD, and available in 75 countries. Sports Studio also operates a managed services and syndication business which develops, monetizes and distributes O&O and third party sports FAST channels to telcos, STB operators, CTV platforms and automotive entertainment systems globally.
Prior to founding Rasenberger Media, Rasenberger helped launch and build the Food Network from a concept thru its eventual sale to E.W. Scripps as SVP Distribution and Affiliate Marketing. Previously, Rasenberger held senior management positions at ESPN, TV Guide, Warner Bros TV and Cablevision Magazine.
Rasenberger is a recognized Cable and Streaming industry expert and a frequent moderator and speaker on industry panels, including Stream TV Show, NAB Show, Cynopsis ScreenShift, NEXT TV Summit, TVOTNYC, Streaming Media, and more. In recognition for her industry contributions, Rasenberger has been included in CableFax “Top 100 Heavy Hitters”, “Most Powerful Women” and inducted into the Cable TV Pioneers. Rasenberger holds a BA from Harvard in History and Literature.

Christina Aguilera
Co-Founder & CEO, Synthis
Christina Aguilera is the CEO and Co-Founder of Synthis, an AI-driven consulting and engineering firm focused on simplifying complex operational and technology ecosystems across media, entertainment, and enterprise organizations.
A senior technology and transformation executive, Christina has led large-scale enterprise initiatives spanning digital supply chains, streaming platforms, data architecture, and AI-enabled workflow modernization. She is known for helping organizations bring clarity and execution to environments where technology, operations, and business strategy intersect.
Before founding Synthis, Christina served in executive leadership roles driving enterprise technology transformation across global media and entertainment companies. Her work focuses on helping organizations modernize systems, integrate AI into operational workflows, and deliver scalable platforms for content production, distribution, and monetization.
Christina is also a recognized industry voice on digital transformation, AI adoption, and operational strategy in streaming and media ecosystems.

Michele Edelman
EVP, Technology & GM, Matchpoint
Michele Edelman is a seasoned Media & Entertainment executive with deep expertise in distribution, marketing, and supply chain innovation. As EVP of Technology and General Manager at Matchpoint, Cineverse, she leads the company’s go-to-market strategy—spanning sales, marketing, and operations for its automated media supply chain platform.
Before joining Matchpoint, Michele was Head of Growth at Premiere Digital, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Content Strategy at Vubiquity, and held senior roles at Warner Bros., including Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Programming.
Over her 20-year career, Michele has created impactful campaigns for studios like Disney, ESPN, and MTV Networks, and co-led the industry’s first Movies On Demand program with CTAM.
She earned her BA from the University of Rhode Island and completed the Tuck Executive Management Program at Dartmouth College. Michele has been recognized among Media Play News’ Top 40 in Streaming Media, and is a recipient of the Women in Home Entertainment Award, CTAM’s Rainmaker Award, and the URI Distinguished Achievement Award.

Preeya Naul
SVP Streaming Partnerships & Supply, VideoElephant
Preeya Naul is a board-level media executive with 15 years of experience leading content and technology businesses, specializing in social video and FAST (Free Ad-Supported TV).
As Vice President of Streaming Partnerships at VideoElephant, she leads the company's FAST business, scaling owned channels and expanding its FAST Managed Service to help content owners launch, distribute, and monetize their channels. Her expertise spans commercial strategy, audience growth, and operational leadership.
Previously, at Newsflare, Preeya served as EVP of Americas & Newsflare Studios, where she launched and built Newsflare Studios, the company's B2C production arm for social content creation and distribution. As a Board Director, she played a key role in the company's strategic growth.
Her earlier roles at Brave Bison, ITN, and the Press Association sharpened her expertise in digital partnerships and audience development within news media.

DeShuna Spencer
Founder & CEO, kweliTV
DeShuna Elisa Spencer is the Founder & CEO of kweliTV, which celebrates global black culture through curated, undiscovered and award-winning indie films, documentaries, web series, children’s programming and events. She’s a former radio host and producer of emPower Hour, a show that examined social justice issues affecting people of color, on Washington, DC’s 89.3 FM WPFW.
A Memphis native, Spencer graduated from Jackson State University where she studied communications and journalism. She has written for The Clarion-Ledger, The Oakland Tribune and the Crisis Magazine. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Spencer served as Director of Communications for EdMarket (formerly NSSEA) where she ran the communications department and managed all media properties for the organization.
A former AmeriCorps*VISTA and Chips Quinn Scholar, Spencer recently completed her first documentary, Mom Interrupted, which tackles gun violence through the stories of the ones most impacted—the mothers of murdered young black men and women. She is a Halcyon Incubator Fellow, a Voqal Fellow and a Google NexGen Policy Leader. Spencer was first place winner of the 2017 Harvard Business School African Business Conference Pitch Competition and was honored with the Bold & Innovative Truth Teller Award at the 2018 Black Millennial Convention. She's featured in the book “How We Fight White Supremacy” as one of the more than 60+ black leading organizers, artists, journalist, entrepreneurs, etc., who offered wisdom on how to fight white supremacy through their work.
In 2019, the Digital Diversity Network named Spencer the Innovation & Inclusion Social Entrepreneur of the Year. She’s an advisory board member of Full Color Future and the Multicultural Media Correspondents Association.
