OTT.X today announced the preliminary program for its 14th annual OTT.X @ Pipeline to be held online on December 9 & 10. This conference was renamed last year from Digital Media Pipeline, to reflect the broadening of this event beyond topics related to the TVOD business, to now include all forms of OTT digital distribution including SVOD and AVOD.
Daily keynotes this year are Mitch Lowe, co-founding executive of Netflix and former President of Redbox, and Curtis Symonds, CEO HBCUX Network and former BET EVP.
In addition to the keynotes, his year’s agenda will include five presentations by leading industry researchers, and two consumer panels. Sessions announced so far:
The consumer panels will be moderated by Michael Vorhaus, CEO of Vorhaus Advisors and Thomas Arnold, Publisher and Editorial Director of Media Play News. Vorhaus will assemble a demographically diverse panel of average consumers and dig deeply into the question, “What Are You Watching and How?”, while Arnold will discuss the consumer experience with panelists having “The Most Demanding Standards”.
There’ll be networking opportunities each day in our virtual “Entrance Lobby” and at each day’s “End of Conference Networking Zoom Room”. And, Steve Apple will continue his popular Trivia Challenges, started at the OTT.X Summit in September.
OTT.X @ Pipeline will conclude with the first annual OTT.X Impact Awards, recognizing content and innovation in the OTT Video Industry that inspire positive action and promote the acceptance of all people.
“I’m proud that Pipeline has evolved over the past 13 years into an annual gathering to not only network, but also to share pertinent research and meaningful thought leadership,” added Mitch Mallon, Founder/CEO Stadium Media and founding chair emeritus of OTT.X @ Pipeline.
Mark Fisher, President and CEO of OTT.X, stated, “While we’ve consistently offered the discussion platform that Pipeline has been recognized for over the past thirteen years, the focus and the topics continue to change along with our industry. We are excited this year to focus on the consumer and to bring great industry research and a couple of the best keynotes we’ve ever had grace this event.”
Participation in OTT.X @ Pipeline is free for OTT.X members, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. Registration for non-members is $89 through October 25, after which it is $129.
